Cookies & tracking

There are none. Here is what that means.

Last updated: 6 August 2026

This website sets no cookies, writes nothing to local or session storage, and loads no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.

Why there is no consent banner

Under the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR, consent is required before storing or reading information on your device for anything that is not strictly necessary — analytics, advertising, fingerprinting, and so on. Because this site does none of that, there is nothing to consent to.

We would rather tell you that than show a banner asking permission for something we do not do. A consent dialog that grants nothing is not compliance; it is decoration.

What the site actually loads

Every request this site makes
ResourceWhere fromStores anything?
HTML pagesfairgo.websiteNo
Stylesheetfairgo.websiteNo
Icon and share imagefairgo.websiteNo

There are no third-party fonts, no embedded video, no social widgets and no tag manager. Links to other sites are ordinary links — nothing is loaded from them until you choose to follow one.

Server logs

Our web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, time, the page requested and your browser's user-agent string. These are needed to operate and secure the site, are not used to build a profile of you, are not shared, and are rotated on a schedule. This is not cookie-based tracking and does not require consent, but you should know it happens.

The apps are different

The Fairgo iOS apps necessarily handle more — your location, your trips, your payment details — and they talk to third parties such as Stripe, Apple, CARTO and OpenStreetMap. All of that is listed, party by party, in the privacy policy. Neither app contains an advertising or analytics SDK.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics or anything else that stores data on your device, we will ask for your consent first, this page will say what it is and why, and refusing will not break the site.
